Play Online

Can’t make it to the Co-Prosperity Sphere in Chicago this year?  Experience the Level Eater adventure without having to put on shoes! We expect online sessions to run from 7pm to 11pm Central, though your hosting gamemaster (GM) may be able to adapt to suit your schedule.

These sessions are played using online video-chat using technologies like Zoom, Demiplane, or Whereby. Tables vary, based on the host GM’s preferred methods and accessibility. We play in favor of imaginative, theater-of-the-mind play for these sessions.

Book a Whole Table

Gather your party for a night of gaming inside the Co-Prosperity Sphere! We’re hosting just two tables per night, for a cozier experience of thrilling adventure. Your session contributes to the climactic outcome of the whole event—it’ll just be less noisy. Doors open at 6pm at the Co-Prosperity Sphere. The adventure runs from 7pm until 11pm sharp.

We’ll have a selection of snacks and beverages on site. Bonus magic items and other boons may be available for purchase, too—so bring cash for donations!

Or Attend the Main Event

Whether you’re part of a fellowship or not, you can get a seat at one of our climactic Main Event tables and enjoy a Level Eater adventure in person! Doors open at 6pm at the Co-Prosperity Sphere. Play runs from 7pm to 11pm, followed by brief closing ceremonies.

Snacks and beverages are available for purchase on site. Bonus magic items and other boons may be available for purchase, too—so bring cash for donations!

Your ticket gets you a seat at an in-person or virtual table—or even a whole table for you and your friends—hosted by a great gamemaster.

As a table of up to five brave adventurers, undertake quests you choose, each of which helps to challenge—and maybe defeat—our old, dreaded enemy.

Quests come in three types: Roleplaying, Exploration, and Combat. Choose as you go to curate your own adventure experience in play.

Each completed quest earns your table a token. Use them to vote on ways to overcome our great enemy—and thus how the tale ends in the closing ceremonies!

Recent Level Eater Adventures…

For years, we have been hunted by a ravenous, hungry, and evil god: the Devourer. Our traveling city of Portsbridge—roaming from world to world, looking to get home—materialized in a strange land at the end of Level Eater 11 (2021).

This “Lost Land” boasts ancient ruins, fallen palaces, and derelict temples, all being reclaimed by nature. It is a place teeming with plants and animals but virtually abandoned by peoples. The land’s emperors despoiled their world, betrayed their folk, and forsook the hundreds of gods—great and small—who once thrived here. Now their palaces rot and their monuments crumble.

For now, the Lost Land is where Portsbridge resides.

In Level Eater 12 (2022), we learned this was the land our great foe, the Devourer, once called home. In ancient times, that foe was known as the Devouring Storm. After devouring its most fearsome and wrathful rivals, it escaped the Lost Land in search of more mortals and minions … to devour.

But not all the gods of the Lost Land are gone. Small and local spirits and minor deities remain in the shrines and shoals, rivers and ruins.

Meanwhile, a cabal of power-hungry megalomaniacs—all named Misrune—schemes to take control of the Lost Land and rule it as a new emperor. They want Portsbridge under their spell, too.

The Lost Land is not wholly empty. During Level Eater: Bonus Action (Fall, 2022) we encountered a mysterious fellow who turned out to be a local god of revelry. (Or some part of that god.) From that being, we learned that the gods of the Lost Land can be challenged—even defeated.

At the end of this event, the folk of Portsbridge had to choose: Leave the Lost Land before the Devourer became aware of our presence or stay and confront our great foe where it was made and where, maybe, it can be bested.

Portsbridge chose to stay and confront that dreaded foe… in Level Eater 13!
